What is SiteMover?
SiteMover is a migration service managed by our dedicated support team for your WordPress-powered website. Rather than some mysterious automated process, our in-house experts will care for your website as if it was their own.
How long does it take?
After filling out the form, we will contact you within two business days. Each website is different and will be handled individually by your dedicated specialist. The amount of time the migration takes will depend on how much content needs to be moved & where.
What information do I need to give you?
Once you order SiteMover, a specialist will be in contact with you to get all of the information they will need to migrate your site for you. We’ll need to access your existing website, so we may be asking you for important login details.
What type of migrations do you support?
At this time, the SiteMover Beta supports all WordPress-powered sites. We allow migrations to, between, or even away from Media Temple hosting services. For more information, read about SiteMover in our Statement of Support.
Will you set up all of my plugins and themes?
Our experienced SiteMover team will do it’s best to make sure all plugins and themes are migrated properly and up-to-date or your money back.
Will you really migrate me to another host?
Yes! We are dedicated to making sure our customers are happy. If we cannot find the best service for you here at (mt), we will help get you migrated to another hosting service at no additional charge.

SiteMover – WordPress Migrations Product Details
– Initially, we will only be offering this service to websites that use WordPress. This includes your database, content, plugins, and themes.
– Each SiteMover migration only applies to a single WordPress installation. For more information, read about SiteMover in our Statement of Support.
– SiteMover will not be offering email migration at this time.
– Once you order SiteMover, a specialist will be in contact with you to get all of the information they will need to migrate your site for you. We’ll need to be able to access your existing site so we’ll be asking for your username and login information, along with other important details that will help us to move your website quickly and easily.
